Yes, it is mandatory to attend orientation to be a part of Hello India program. If you have already attended the 'Hello India' orientation in the past 1 year, then you can skip the orientation this time.

What does the hand book contain?
The handbook will have topics for your day-to-day sessions. Each session is broken down into activities so that you can easily prepare it before the session and discuss with the buddy over the call.

My buddy has not prepared for the session, can I continue the session?
Yes, you can continue the session but ask the buddy to work on their session topics everyday.
How many session does Hello India program has?
NRI buddies needs to complete 13 sessions in 15days.
Can NRI buddy discuss on other topics apart from handbook?
Yes, you can talk about other topics once you complete the topic for the day given in your handbook. Make sure, you do not discuss any religion, violence or controversial topics during the call.
My Indian buddy is not available at 7am IST, please help?
You can speak with your buddy and set a call at a convenient time for both for you. It is not mandatory to do the session only at 7am IST.
Is it necessary to make a video call or an audio call?
We are expecting the NRI buddy to make only an audio call. If both the NRI buddy and Indian buddy are comfortable with video call, they can do after mutual acceptance.
My Indian buddy is not able to understand the language?
For initial few days, Indian buddies might find it hard to understand your slang. we request you to slow down while you speak.
If your buddy could not understand still, please inform us. We will remap a new Indian buddy to you if available.
My Indian buddy is not picking the call?

During these 2 days, make sure you whatsapp them also to understand why they did not pick the call.
